ACT Museum

Trade your LEGO, K’nex, and other buildings toys to the ACT Museum for store credit! Store credit is offered in the form of eGift cards, which can be used to purchase retail items, museum admission, and stamp cards. Every trade helps preserve and share the history of three-dimensional building toys in America through preservation, education, and play.

Only factory-sealed (never opened) building sets of the following brands and themes are accepted (current and retired):

• LEGO
  • Excludes QUATRO
• Mattel Brick Shop
• MEGA Pokémon
• K’nex
  • Only roller coaster, theme park rides, ball drop sets
• Lumibricks/Funwhole
• COBI

Trade Value

Items are accepted at the following percentage of market value:

Condition of Sets:

• Great condition (100% of value as listed above)
• Good condition (10% off value as listed above)
  • Minimal creasing and wear
• Poor condition (NOT ACCEPTED)
  • Significant creasing, tears, holes, crushed packaging, additional barcodes on packaging

Trade Policy

• State law requires you to be 18 or older to trade any product in Ohio, and present a current, valid, picture ID. Trades also require a valid email address to receive store credit.
• All sets must be physically present to receive a quote. Quotes (trade offers) are valid until store closing or until sets leave the Museum.
• We reserve the right to refuse a trade offer based on current inventory levels and the quality of the sets being traded. Generally, we will not accept more than two of the same set in a single trade.
• At this time we cannot offer cash for trades.
• Please note, we only accept loose bricks, Minifigures, open box sets, pre-built sets, damaged sets, and building toys not listed above as donations.
