Black History Month Exhibit

Explore the lives of Black LEGO builders from across the United States.
Adult Build Night
🗓️ Fourth Fridays, 6-9pm
Regular admission (18+)
Adults (18+) can bring their current LEGO or building toy project, build a set in the Museum, or free build in the play space. Bring friends, a partner, coworkers, or come solo and build! Free snacks will be provided. Builders can also enjoy 10% off retail purchases!
ACT After Dark
🗓️ Second Saturdays, 6-10pm
$18 per adult (18+)
Experience the ACT Museum after dark! Adults (18+) can enjoy:
- Trivia with prizes (7-8pm)
- Play building themed board games
- Light bites
- Build with new and vintage building toys
Experience over 200 LEGO, TinkerToys, Erector sets, and more building toys from the 1800s to present. Additionally, each adult leaves with a free LEGO Minifigure! Registration closes five days in advance of event.
Junior Builders Day Camp
🗓️ Monday, February 16, 8:30am-3:30pm
$45 for ages 6-12
Kids can join us for a day of fun at our Junior Builders Day Camp! Led by a certified teaching professional, activities include:
- LEGO and K’nex building challenges
- Building with LEGO compatible robots
- LEGO Derby race
- Fun building toy history
- Free build time with LEGO, K’nex, TinkerToys, and more
- Each camper leaves with a free LEGO Minifigure!
Things to note:
- Campers should bring a bag lunch, however snacks are provided for break times. Please avoid foods with nuts for other campers with allergies.
- Parents/guardians most complete the Camp Information Form for each child.
- Drop off time is 8:15-8:45am and pick up time is 3:15-3:45pm.
Weekly Events
STEAM Classes
🗓️ Tuesdays, 6-7pm
$12 for ages 6-12
February 2026 classes available!
Join us for hands-on STEAM classes using LEGO, TinkerToy, and other classic building toys to spark creativity and problem-solving. Taught by a licensed teacher and geared towards kids ages 6-12. Each child leaves with a free LEGO Minifigure!
Family Nights
🗓️ Wednesdays & Thursdays, 5:30-8:30pm
Families can enjoy reduced admission on weekday evenings! No charge for parents/guardians with child admission (12 and under).
Fundraisers
Schools, PTAs, and nonprofits can participate in a fundraiser week at the ACT Museum! This is a fun and educational way to raise money for your organization while encouraging family engagement and play-based learning.
