CUSTOMER ASSOCIATE
We are looking for a part-time enthusiastic Customer Associate to join the ACT Museum team! The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and enjoys working with customers of all ages. You’ll help create a fun and engaging museum and shopping experience by providing excellent customer service, maintaining a tidy and playful environment, and staying knowledgeable about our building toys.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with museum wayfinding selecting building toys.
- Maintain store appearance by organizing shelves and restocking inventory.
- Operate the cash register, handle sales transactions, and process returns or exchanges.
- Share knowledge of museum exhibits, new arrivals, and special events with customers.
- Ensure store safety and cleanliness, especially in high-traffic and play areas.
- Engage with children, families, and all ages in a positive and friendly manner.
- Follow all store policies and procedures, including loss prevention.

- Assess building toys for trade-in.
Qualifications
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of LEGO strongly preferred, or an interest to develop knowledge.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, patient, and energetic personality.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in an occasional fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand, move, and lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
- Flexibility in work scheduled with advanced notice.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
Work Schedule
- Every Thursday
- 3:45-8:15pm
- Every other Saturday
- 11:45am-6:15pm
- Additional shifts will be available with advanced notice

$15.00/hr
